Subtitled Tuesdays: 'The Judgement'
On July 7 our regular screening program 'Subtitled Tuesdays' (with both English and Croatian subtitles included) will present film 'The Judgement' (original title: 'Sadilishteto'; Croatian title: 'Sudilište') by Bulgarian director Stephan Komandarev, acclaimed for his film 'The World is Big and Salvation Lurks Around the Corner', the biggest Bulgarian international success.
'The Judgement', a Bulgarian-German-Macedonian-Croatian co-production, recounts the story of a father and his son who have to return to a forgotten past, to face long-kept secrets and to rediscover the path to themselves. The leading roles in this "haunting tale from the mountains" (Cineuropa) are played by Assen Blatechki, Miki Manojlović, Ovanes Torosian and other beloved stars of a Bulgarian cinema.
Screening starts at 7 pm.
